Why this site exists
Every year thousands of diploma-holders across Gujarat sit for the DDCET - the Diploma-to-Degree Common Entrance Test - hoping for a BE seat through the ACPC counselling process. The official portal only shows your OMR sheet; you have to cross-check every bubble against the answer key, tally BE01 and BE02 separately, and apply the +2 / −0.5 marking scheme by hand. That's tedious and easy to get wrong.
This tool does all of that in a few seconds. Upload the OMR sheet you downloaded from the portal, pick your preferred branch, and you get your complete breakdown: BE01 marks, BE02 marks, total score, a question-by-question answer review, and your approximate rank on the public leaderboard - ready before the official merit list drops.
What you get
- Automatic grading - every bubble on your sheet is read and scored against the official answer key. No manual checking.
- Sheet integrity checks - the uploader verifies your image is the original file from the DDCET portal and cross-matches seat number, so mix-ups and edits are caught.
- Series-specific keys - independent answer keys for series A, B, C, and D, updated whenever ACPC publishes a correction.
- Official marking scheme - +2 for each correct, −0.5 for each wrong, 0 for unattempted. Questions marked
X(dropped by the board) are credited to everyone. - Gamified result card - tier, percentile, achievements, and a downloadable share card for WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Automatic re-grading - if ACPC updates the answer key after your upload, your stored result is re-scored and the leaderboard refreshes on its own.
Privacy & data storage
We do not store your seat number. We do not store the uploaded image. The OMR file is graded in memory and discarded the moment your result is computed – it never touches disk, never gets uploaded to S3, never gets logged.
What we keep in the database: an HMAC hash of your seat (so re-uploads still find your
record), an auto-generated nickname like CyberGlitch4092, your preferred
branch, your scores, and your raw A/B/C/D answers (so we can re-grade you when ACPC
revises the answer key). The plaintext seat number is dropped before the database write.
Without the seat number, no one – including us – can map a leaderboard row back to a specific student. The public handle is the random nickname only.
Answer keys come from the official ACPC release; you can cross-check the keys we use on our public answer keys page. When ACPC revises a key, every stored result is automatically re-scored.
Because we don’t store seat numbers, we cannot match a specific student’s record on request – the design is intentionally one-way. If you’d rather not have a result stored at all, simply don’t upload the sheet.
