Who conducts DDCET?
Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is the nodal agency conducting the exam. ACPC - the Admission Committee for Professional Courses - runs the counselling and seat-allotment process that follows.
Step-by-step: registering for DDCET 2026
- Open gujacpc.admissions.nic.in.
- Complete the online registration form with your personal and academic details.
- Upload the required documents - photograph, signature, birth certificate, and diploma marksheet.
- Pay the ₹250 registration fee online.
- Confirmation of registration and admit-card download follow once payment is processed.

You pick three city choices during registration. Once submitted, these cannot be modified under any circumstances. Short-list them before you start the form.

What happens after the exam
- GTU publishes the provisional answer key. Objections can be raised within the stated window.
- The final answer key and merit list are declared on the ACPC site.
- Candidates register separately for admission counselling (₹350).
- A mock choice-filling round runs before the actual one - use it to calibrate your preference list.
- The actual choice-filling round follows, then seat allotment, token fee payment, and admission slip download.

Result validity
Your DDCET result is valid only for the admission year it was issued in. If you don't take up a seat in 2026, you'll need to sit the exam again in 2027.
