DDCET 2026 marking scheme

Every BE01 (Q1–Q50) and BE02 (Q51–Q100) question is scored on the same scale:

  • +2 for each correct answer
  • −0.5 for each wrong answer (negative marking)
  • 0 for unattempted questions
  • +2 for ACPC-dropped questions (marked X in the key) – awarded to every candidate

When does ACPC release the official DDCET 2026 answer key?

ACPC publishes the provisional DDCET 2026 answer key on its official portal within a few days of the exam, followed by an objection window and a final answer key. Each paper series (A, B, C, D) has its own key. We mirror every ACPC release on this page within hours of publication.

Where can I download the official DDCET answer key PDF?

The official PDFs are released by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) at acpc.gujarat.gov.in under the DDCET notifications section. The keys on this page are typed transcriptions of that same source so you can compare option-by-option.

What does ‘X’ mean in the answer key?

An X means ACPC has dropped that question – usually because it was ambiguous, had no correct option, or had multiple correct options. Every candidate receives the +2 marks for an X-marked question regardless of what they bubbled.

How many questions are on the DDCET paper?

The DDCET paper has 100 multiple-choice questions split into two sections: BE01 (Q1–Q50) covers core engineering subjects and BE02 (Q51–Q100) covers branch-specific subjects. The total is out of 200 marks.
