The DDCET 2026 Engineering exam is on 5 May 2026. The result — scorecard, rank and merit list — gets published on the ACPC site within a few weeks after that. Below is the expected timeline based on the 2025 cycle, the official link where the result will appear, and the exact steps to download your scorecard.

DDCET 2026 result: quick answers

  • Exam date: 5 May 2026 (Engineering); 9 May 2026 (Pharmacy)
  • Provisional answer key: expected within 24–48 hours of the exam (mid-May 2026)
  • Final result / scorecard: expected late May or early June 2026, based on the 2024 and 2025 cycles where the scorecard went live ~3 weeks after the exam
  • Where to check: acpc.gujarat.gov.in/merit_list_ddcet
  • What you'll need: your DDCET application number (issued at registration on gujacpc.admissions.nic.in)
ACPC has not announced an official result date for DDCET 2026 as of writing. The estimates above are based on the 2025 timeline. The official date will be posted on the ACPC DDCET notices page — bookmark it.

Expected timeline (based on the 2025 cycle)

ACPC's pattern in the last completed cycle was:

  1. Exam day → OMR sheets uploaded to the candidate portal almost the same day.
  2. Day 1–2 → provisional answer key published. In 2025, OMR sheets were viewable until ~48 hours after the exam, alongside the provisional key.
  3. Objection window → candidates can challenge the provisional key through their portal login. The deadline and per-question fee are listed on the candidate portal post-login.
  4. ~2–3 weeks after the exam → final answer key & individual scorecards become available. (The 2024 scorecard was around ~3 weeks; expect similar in 2026.)
  5. Same time → the Common Merit List (rank list across all candidates) is published.
  6. After the result → separate admission registration (₹350) opens for ACPC counselling.

How to check your DDCET 2026 result — step by step

  1. Go to acpc.gujarat.gov.in/merit_list_ddcet once ACPC announces the scorecard release.
  2. Enter your DDCET application number (this is the number issued when you registered on gujacpc.admissions.nic.in — not your seat number).
  3. Type the on-screen captcha.
  4. Click Submit to load your scorecard PDF.
  5. Download and save it — you'll need it during ACPC choice-filling.

If your application number isn't on hand, log into the registration portal first to retrieve it. The scorecard portal does not ask for date of birth or seat number — application number + captcha is the entire login.

What's on the scorecard

The DDCET scorecard PDF lists:

  • BE 01 marks (out of 100, the Basics of Science and Engineering section)
  • BE 02 marks (out of 100, the Aptitude section — Maths + Soft Skills)
  • Total marks (out of 200)
  • Negative marks deducted from each section
  • DDCET Rank — your position in the Common Merit List, used directly for counselling

Note: ACPC does not publish a percentile or normalised score. Merit is your raw rank using a six-level tie-breaker (total marks → BE 01 → BE 02 → lowest negative → lowest BE 01 negative → lowest BE 02 negative → older DOB).

Don't want to wait? Get your marks the same day

ACPC's official scorecard takes 2–3 weeks. The OMR sheet on your candidate portal is available within hours of the exam. Drop that sheet here once the answer key is out and you'll get your BE 01, BE 02, total marks and approximate rank instantly — before the official result.

What happens after the result

  1. ACPC opens a separate admission registration form (₹350 fee) for choice-filling and counselling. This is different from the ₹250 exam fee you already paid.
  2. A mock choice-filling round runs first — use it to calibrate your branch and college preferences without committing.
  3. The actual choice-filling round follows, then ACPC runs seat allotment based on your DDCET rank and submitted preferences.
  4. If allotted, you pay the token fee within the deadline and download your admission slip.
  5. You report to the allotted college on the date listed in the admission slip.

The full process is detailed in our eligibility & ACPC admission guide.

Common questions

Will the DDCET 2026 result come on the official date or earlier?

ACPC has not announced an official date yet. Based on 2025, expect late May to early June 2026. The official date will be on gujacpc.admissions.nic.in/notices-ddcet/.

What if I forgot my application number?

Log into your account on gujacpc.admissions.nic.in to retrieve it. The application number is also printed on your admit card.

Is the result valid for a future year?

No. Your DDCET 2026 result is valid only for the 2026–27 admission cycle. If you don't take a seat this year, you'll have to retake DDCET in 2027.

How is rank different from marks?

Marks are raw — what you scored. Rank is your position relative to every other candidate, computed using the six-level tie-breaker. Two candidates with the same total marks won't share a rank: one will be ahead based on BE 01, then BE 02, then negative-mark count, then date of birth.
